This is to advise that Murray underwent a serious stomach operation on Thursday 4th August to remove cancer - prognosis is excellent with Doctors reporting that they seemed to have got it all.
Is in Ward 17 Christchurch Public Hospital and is hoping for a MEDEVAC either Thursday or Friday depending on progress, to Nelson Public Hospital
A visit today confirmed that he has NOT lost his sense of humour, but a rumour to the effect that he is organising Captains Rounds of the ward tomorrow could not be substantiated!
