Gerry Marlow has been admitted to the Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane after suffering a heart attack on Sunday the 25th of February 2007. He is expecting to under go a variety of tests before being discharged towards the end of this week.
I spoke to him by phone last night (26/02/07) and he was his normal cheeky self and seemed to be enjoying the attention of the nursing staff.
Accommodation and meals were all first class he said but he was missing "Up Spirits".

Further to my last ; Gerry under went a triple by-pass operation on Sunday 4th March and his condition is reported as stable. I understand that one of his daughter's is now with him and will continue to be available during his convalescence. I suspect that he will be remaining in hospital for the next 10-14 days at least.
