For personal reasons I am keen to contact any men that served on HMNZS Taranaki with my uncle - Tom Peters while he was in the RNZN.

Tom was a Samoan boy who people did mistake for a Maori.  His family lived in Western Springs/Grey Lynn - Auckland.  Tom married Phyllis and has two children Tony (girl) and Thomas – later they built and owned a house in Ranui, eventually retiring on the Gold Coast. Tom died within the last ten years.
